To apply for membership in the San Diego Dermatological Society, please fill out the online application. E-mail your completed application to
dermsociety@sdderm.org or mail to the address on the application. Applications must be accompanied by the following:
- Curriculum vitae
- Current CA License
- Two letters of recommendation from board-certified dermatologists.

- Application fee of $50.00 (Applied toward your current year’s dues.)
If mailing your application, please submit four copies of the application and accompanying material.
Once received, applications will be referred to the Executive Committee and voted upon by the membership at the next scheduled meeting. The annual dues is $165.00.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES
Regular Members - Regular members shall be physicians who have completed residency or fellowship training in dermatology. Regular members may vote, hold elective office and shall pay the dues and assessments levied by the Society.
Affiliate Members - Affiliate members shall be non-dermatologists whom the Society membership feel are qualified and worthy of membership because of their interest in dermatology.
Corresponding Members - Any distinguished dermatologist in this country or abroad may be elected to Corresponding Membership. Corresponding members shall be exempt from paying dues and cannot hold elective office in the Society or vote on Society matters.
Retired Members - Retired members are those members who are no longer practicing dermatology. There will be no dues or assessments for retired members. Retired members retain all rights and privileges of membership except for holding elective office.
Emeritus Members - Emeritus members are those members who are at least 70 years of age and have 25 years of active participation in the Society.
Emeritus members pay no dues or assessments and retain all rights and privileges of membership.
